“We got married in October in the OC, and hiring the Joyfully team to help us plan our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We went with the full-service package as my partner and I both work pretty demanding jobs. In hindsight, we are so glad we opted for the full-service package because doing so saved us so much time and stress. There is still so much you have to do and deal with during wedding planning so it was great to know that we had a team behind us taking care of things and keeping us on track. Blaire was our main planner, and we also worked with Hannah and Sharon along the way. All 3 ladies are so kind, knowledgeable, and overall just a pleasure to work with! With the full-service package, the team connected us with the most amazing vendors at varying price levels, which we appreciated. This saved us SO much time of having to do our own research. We also really appreciated the honest advice they gave us in terms of where to spend vs. where to save. This is the kind of insight that we would've never had on our own and was so valuable to receive from an experienced wedding planner. There were also a few times where Blaire stepped in and advocated on our behalf with some of our vendors which resulted in less stress for us and more money saved. They also worked with us to execute the vision we had in terms of design and aesthetics. Even though we had a few changes of heart with some design elements along the way, the team didn't flinch and gladly adjusted things for us. Joyfully also offers their own rental items (discount included with the full-service package), and renting most of our decor items through them also saved us a lot of time and money (can you sense a theme here?!). Fast forward to our wedding day, everything looked so beautiful and the evening went so smoothly. It was truly the happiest day of our lives! We had always heard horror stories of things going wrong on your wedding day, but for us, none of that happened & if it did, we didn't even know because Blaire and her team took care of it for us. We got so many genuine compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed our wedding and a lot of that was because of the thoughtful planning efforts of Joyfully Co.! “DJ Dominiq was the DJ for our wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in October 2024, and choosing him was one of the easiest decisions we made. I’m also a wedding planner and have worked with Dominiq for many years on countless weddings, and that long-standing professional relationship is exactly why we chose him for our own wedding. My fiancé is extremely particular about music, especially transitions, flow, and reading the dance floor. We wanted a party that felt elevated, fun, and alive, without the undertone of a corny MC or over-the-top DJ personality. Dominiq absolutely nailed this. The music flowed seamlessly, the energy never dipped, and the dance floor stayed full because he truly knows how to read a room. Even though Dominiq knows us well and has worked with us many times, he still scheduled a final meeting a week prior to the wedding. That meeting meant a lot to us, it showed how much he genuinely listens and cares about understanding each couple’s specific wants and needs. We felt completely heard and confident going into the wedding day. From a professional standpoint, Dominiq is everything you want in a vendor: always on time, always prepared, impeccably dressed, and consistently professional. he also has the best equipment and the best speakers. “I first contacted Jenny from JenEvents as a preferred vendor of my wedding venue at Coyote Hills Golf Course about 8 or 9 months before our date. She brought this warm energy and excitement to wedding planning that drew us to her. I was planning a western church wedding that still preserved elements of traditional Vietnamese culture so I really wanted a wedding planner who could anticipate those needs and felt that Jenny was our perfect fit! Our venue already provided catering and bar services so we elected to do the day-of-wedding planning package. We were planning from NorCal which made it challenging in many ways. Jen had several check in’s with us over the months and was extremely responsive via e-mail when we requested assistance, such as needed recommendations for late night snacks. She knew all the best vendors in the area so we felt reassured with our vendor line up with her green light. We were also grateful that she was flexible with our tight schedules when we drove down to SoCal. I was a cricut bride and I had A LOT of DIY decor and activity ideas. Jenny was always encouraging yet realistic. She knew or would figure out how to best execute my vision and always had a back up plan which made me feel so secure about trusting her with creating our vision for our big day. For example, I really wanted to create a warm, rustic look over the dance floor with a ceiling of rattan pendant lights with greenery, which the venue had never done before. She really delivered on working with our venue and thinking thoroughly of all the details for execution! It turned out SO AMAZING, just perfect. We received SO many compliments on the decor from our guests! We couldn’t be more grateful to Jenny and her team for carefully making every detail look perfect. Jenny was very thoughtful about details of the wedding that we would have never personally considered and asked clarifying questions to intently understand what we wanted. “Above All Catering was amazing in making our wedding special, and a large part of this was thanks to Alicia. She was communicative and responsive throughout our entire planning process. The whole team was kind in taking time to answer any of our questions at any time. The tasting experience was very pleasant, we loved all the food (they let us take the rest home). On the day of, their service was professional and smooth, their team did an amazing job leading the buffet station. Our guests made several comments throughout the night about how much they enjoyed the mushroom fajitas, they were so tasty! We also specially requested horchata and agua de jamaica which were wonderful beverage additions loved by many of our guests. Above All Catering was recommended as a preferred vendor by our venue and remained the only catering option that was explicitly accommodating of a fully vegetarian/vegan menu as well as many dietary restrictions for our guests (gluten free and nut free options) which was extremely important to us. We're grateful for their part in our special day!”

I was on a tight budget and after I received her pricing (which was very fair) I let her know it was out of my budget and she immediately offered to work within my budget and talk through what we could do. I also had my heart set on a videographer and she brought in her friend Nicole, they made the best team and worked so well together. They even offered to meet me for coffee and see the first look spot so I’d feel more comfortable the day of. Fast forward to the important part, Kaitlin is calm, professional, and truly wants the best for what you want during your special day. She does not pressure you to get a shot that doesn’t make you feel comfortable because she wants you to remember the parts of the day most important to you. We received sneak peek photos within 24 hours which was so impressive and they were beautiful, it had me counting down the days until the full album was done! During our consultation, Dj Wil sold us on his mixing skills. In addition, he gave us ideas on uplighting our venue (which he had worked several times), and even went through a mock timeline of how the night would unfold. Super helpful for someone to hear who hasn't been married or hired a DJ before. After meeting with their team, we knew we had to have them for our wedding. We also had their 'dancing on clouds' effects that completely helped set the mood for our reception and had everyone in awe. Dj Wil was amazing in getting our guests amped up and entertained. Not only that, Wil checked in with us through out the night to help make sure everything was ok. Almost a week later, our guests are still raving about how much fun they had at our wedding. “Fae and Adi really put on a great photobooth. First-off they don't use some iPad, they actually have a really nice DSLR camera that takes stunning photos. Plus the pretty sparkly backdrop was apparently sewn by Fae herself so it's not some Amazon party favor. They are very sweet and helped us to look our best in the photos and even let us retake some when we asked. I love the additional activity of being able to decorate your print with cute stickers and gems. Everyone had a blast customizing their pictures. They also emailed the high quality pics to us so we could re-post them and keep them as a digital memory. They were very friendly and professional and made themselves available for anything we might need. I'll definitely call them up again if we have a birthday or babyshower.”

“My husband and I were married in late June 2022. Our initial budget didn’t include a videographer, but we made a last-minute decision to have one, and I spent weeks searching for a local vendor (Philly metro) whose style reflected our tastes. I came across one of Michael’s videos on a national videography firm website. He was not given credit for the video, but after watching it at least two dozen times, I put my internet stalking skills to good use and managed to track him down! It didn’t matter that he lived across the country from us (although telling everyone that we would have to fly Michael from California to Pennsylvania to shoot our wedding made us feel uber-bougie!). As it turned out, Michael’s basic package plus the cost of airfare, accommodations, and rental car ran about the same as most of the local, mediocre videographers who had quoted us. So we booked him—and it was SUCH a great decision! He was super unobtrusive throughout most of our wedding day to the extent that we almost forgot he was there! He was also professional and kind. We loved him. Now to the final product. He sent us the link to our completed highlight video in a perfectly reasonable timeframe after the big day, and we were absolutely blown away! Then I shared it to my Facebook page. Here are direct quotes from some of the many comments from my family and friends: “Are you famous now? Because I legit felt like I was watching two Hollywood stars in this video!” “He did a really great job of capturing the entire day in such a short amount of time. Beautiful!” “So dreamy!” “Simply perfect.” “Love this! Made me smile so big!” “This was so well done!” “I smiled throughout this entire thing.” “Not that I’ve watched a million wedding videos or anything…but I have to say that was one of the best I’ve seen. So beautifully done. Looked like I was watching an actual movie/tv show to the point it makes us feel like we’re right there. Everything looked truly amazing.” I should also mention that I work for a NASDAQ-listed fintech firm and shared the video with our Head of Multimedia. He loved it too and even asked if I would mind him sharing it with his team as an example of how he wants them to shoot. If we had to do it again, we would unquestionably choose Michael every single time. He is truly an artist. Thank you, Michael!”

“We recently had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at The Westin Anaheim Resort, and both events exceeded our expectations! The rehearsal dinner took place on the Jewel Floor, a private rooftop space with an amazing view of Disneyland. The food was absolutely spectacular and set the perfect tone for our wedding weekend. The wedding venue itself is exceptional in every way. It's a brand new, luxurious, and spacious space that felt like a dream come true. Every single staff member, from the bartenders to the servers, security, front desk, and valet, was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. We opted for passed hors d'oeuvres, a plated dinner, and late-night bites, and everything was delicious. The service was prompt, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The bar package offered great options, and the bartenders were quick and made delicious drinks. One of the highlights of our experience was working with Shannon, the banquet manager. She made the entire wedding planning process easy and smooth, taking a lot of stress off our plates. The Colony House

“We had an amazing experience with this venue. The team was incredibly helpful, flexible, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. The venue itself is beautiful, and the catering was excellent—high-quality food with a wide variety of options. Portions were generous, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food. A special thank you to Shane and Cameron, who went above and beyond. They allowed us to stop by before the rehearsal to drop off items and practice our dance, which made everything much less stressful. On the wedding day, there was a miscommunication between vendors that led to an additional fee, and the venue was kind enough to help accommodate it. “This location was perfect!!!! I honestly couldn't have been more pleased with how easy the owners made my planning. Loved that we were able to bring outside vendors for food. They are family owned and let me tell you they make you feel like family. That was one of my favorite things about this venue. Karis was amazing. She is one of the owners and was so welcoming. I loved that they had all the things I needed and had connections if they didn't. This made planning stress-free. I didn't have to call around to find chairs/tables/linen/heaters etc. My guests were all amazed with how unique and beautiful the venue was. Hopefully in the near future we can have our baby shower there.”

“The Grand Theater was a beautiful wedding venue, with a stunning space and amazing food. The staff was awesome and very attentive to our needs. However, we did have some issues with their communication and payment processes. There were a few instances where payments failed to go through due to their system having an error and they didn't tell us until days later. Towards the end, they also tried to overcharge us but we were able to catch these errors by referencing our contract. They quickly fixed the issues, but it was a bit frustrating to have to double-check and get everything sorted. Overall, the venue and staff were great, but be sure to carefully review your contract and keep on top of all payments to avoid any problems. I don't think any of the issues we had were malicious or done intentionally so I would recommend them!”
