My husband and I chose a courthouse wedding ceremony - just us - but knew we wanted to invite close friends and family to an intimate dinner that evening to celebrate. I wasn't sure where to begin - I contacted Amalia and sent her photos from Pinterest as my inspiration. Amalia truly blew us away from day 1 - she created custom dinner invites for us based on my inspiration photos. She sent over multiple proofs of her one-of-a-kind digital designs until it was perfectly done. I never had to reach out to her - Amalia was on top of my deadlines and full of ideas for my dream night! Her communication is excellent. My husband and I picked a venue in Scotch Plains, NJ to host our dinner. The restaurant offered private, charming rooms for special events. Cold sparks tripped the power in the reception hall—Brittney handled it. Wind kept blowing over the arch as they were trying to decorate—Brittney handled it. By the end of the night, I didn’t want to deal with the train on my reception dress—Brittney handled it (the woman literally stitched a bustle for me lol). I could go on and on forever about how amazing this woman is. My family, the vendors, and even random guests commented on what an incredible job she did. “We first met Island Creek Events at a bridal expo in Queenstown, and from that moment, we knew we were in good hands. After an initial Zoom call where they explained everything they offer, how the process would work with a day-of coordinator, and broke down all the pricing, we felt confident moving forward—and we’re so glad we did. We had Naomi as our day-of planner, and she was absolutely amazing. We truly could not have asked for a better person to help guide us through the final stretch leading up to our wedding on August 2nd. From the start, she made everything feel manageable. We Zoomed once a week to stay on track, and she walked us through what needed to be done on our end vs. what she would handle. She answered every question (big or small) and was always willing to schedule extra meetings if we needed them. Naomi was there for our dress rehearsal the night before and stayed with us all day on the wedding day. “All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things.
